Some fall pictures of Hailey Adelle. My Aunt Lynne has a huge old tree in her front yard, and she let us take some cute fall pictures of our little monkey. They came out pretty good, I think.
Introductions: Trevor, the daddy. Tina, the mommy. Who could forget Hailey Adelle, the big girl... well she's 4, and the baby, Brooklyn Reese.

The Cousins
Over the weekend we had my two little cousins, Nick and Elise. They stayed the night Friday night and had a good time playing with Hailey. We played outside for a while on Saturday and threw the "Chuck-It" for Cody. It was super windy (it's ALWAYS windy at our house) and pretty cold, so we only played outside for a little while. Turns out Nick's friend from school lives next door to us, and they took up a game of dodge ball. Trevor joined in. After Hailey's nap, we did a project with the laminater and leaves. I printed out little sayings to laminate with the leaves, and Hailey had a hard time reading what they said. We had a good time and enjoyed having the extra bodies here.

Halloween Costume
Check out Hailey's home made Halloween costume. My grandma "Gumun" made the costume for Hailey. We're exciting to go trick-or-treating this year. She's a little white kitty, with a tail. She loves the outfit.
Melting Crayons
Hailey loves projects soooooo much. We chose melting crayons with an iron. Hailey had a great time making pictures with us.
Bad Doggie
When we first moved to Oregon, I was working for my uncle and I found this pitiful dog roaming the parking lot at work. I got Trevor to agree to let us take her home. Trevor and I ended up moving out, and my parents kept the dog. I know, I know, probably a story all too familiar to a lot of parents, but stay with me. Four years later my parents were fed up with all the insane barking this dog, Cheyenne, was doing. So they asked Trevor and I if we want to have her. After four years I had an attachment to Cheyenne, she was a part of our family, more or less. So we took her. The barking never stopped, so we researched Cheyenne's breed. Turns out she is a type of dog that needs, and I quote, "intense exercise". That just didn't seem to fit into our schedules, so we decided the best thing to do was to find her a home with someone who could give her the exercise she needed. We did just hat, and thought we'd be rid of the barking....... Turns out, not so much!
One month later Trevor and I have to take a detour because of construction, and I kid you not, Cheyenne runs past us, right in front of us. We stop to see where she lives and try to get her home. Her new owner is not home, so we take her to the pound until the owner is available to pick her up. Are we done with this stinkin' dog yet.......... nope!
A week or so later, we're playing Mario Kart online with the Duncan's in Arizona (ain't technology grand?). And we hear a scratch at our door. No joke, the freakin dog is at our house! AT OUR HOUSE!!! Alright, this is just plain weird now. We call her owner she picks her up and all is right in the world again.... or is it?
You guessed it a week later, Cheyenne is back, this time it's been raining outside and she has a slight stench of a skunk. What the heck??? What do we have to do to get rid of this dog? Well, knock on wood, it's been about 2 weeks and no Cheyenne. Here's hoping she loves her new home and she doesn't come back. I love her, she's a sweet dog, but she has a new home, and she should stay there!
Anyway here are some pictures of Cheyenne. The first one is the day I brought her home from work. And the others are from one of Cheyenne's nightly visits to our house. Oh, and her little friend that lives with her now, Sam. He's a trooper, he follows Cheyenne wherever she goes, but just doesn't understand why they have to run so far and so often.
The Monster Rug
After months of working on this rug for my mom's hallway, I finally finished it, or so I thought. The colors are beautiful, and the rug is so long. Funny enough, after sewing on the non-stick backing so the rug doesn't kill anyone, i happily rolled it out in my mom's hallway, and......... it's too short, and could be wider. So my proud finished pictures turned out to be more of "progress" pictures. Anyway, I'll take more pictures when I finish the rug.... for real! *laughing to self*
